Enhancing Lives and Building Community

Since 1945, over two million dollars in grants have helped fund important programs and projects in our community. The foundation focuses on grant requests that enhance the lives of all Leelanau Township residents through the arts, education, the environment, community development, economic development, human services, health and wellness and recreation. Programs and projects we fund enhance the lives of everyone in the community with a special focus on our most vulnerable populations, youth and elders.

Targeted grant making programs are supported by monies from the General Endowment Fund as well as the Youth Endowment Fund and the Leelanau Township Health and Wellness Endowment Fund.
