We administer the following funds in order to benefit projects for the community, culture and the arts, education and literacy, health and wellness, and youth.

General Endowment Fund
The endowment that started the Foundation, our General Endowment Fund is a competitive fund that addresses emerging needs in the community and supports our Areas of Focus.
LTCF Operations Fund
Supports the day-to-day operations and administration of the Leelanau Township Community Foundation.
Beatrice M. Bowen Memorial book fund
Provides books for Leelanau Township children at Northport Public School or through local non-profit organizations.
Future by design Fund
Supports efforts to create a sustainable coastal community.

Grand Traverse Lighthouse Museum Endowment Fund
Koenig Northport Community Arts Endowment
Established in 2012 by Dick and Sheri Koenig, this endowment fund supports the Northport Performing Arts Center to carry out its role and mission, including the expansion of annual programs: https://www.northportperformingarts.org/
Leelanau Township Health & Wellness Fund
Serves the immediate health and wellness needs of Leelanau Township residents.
Leelanau Township Library Advised Fund
For use by the Leelanau Township Library to support its role and mission.
Leelanau Township Library Grace Cochran Special Use Fund
Ruth Updegraff bequeathed $10,000 from her estate for the purchase of books and other reference material on the subject of wildlife, plants, and gardening. Ms. Updegraff named this fund in memory of her dear friend Grace Cochran.
Leelanau Township Library Endowment Fund
Supports the Leelanau Township Library’s ongoing mission.
Northport Area Heritage Association Fund
Supports the Northport Area Heritage Association to carry out its role and mission in the community.
Northport Community Arts Center Endowment Fund
This endowment fund supports the operating and maintenance costs of the Northport Public School auditorium. Each year, the Foundation disperses interest earnings from the endowment to Northport Public School.
Northport Masonic Lodge 265 F&AM Endowment Fund
Support for local non-profit organizations, dedicated to preservation of literary and artistic materials, presentation of the arts and preservation of local history.
Northport Public School Booster Club Fund
Provides educational enrichment programs.
Pearl Kellogg Memorial Fund
Established to support a charitable organizations in memory of Pearl Kellogg for her service as a bookkeeper of the Northport Point Cottage Owners Association.
Saving Birds Thru Habitat Fund

Save Woolsey Airport Terminal (SWAT) Fund
Started in October 2023, this special project fund seeks to support the preservation and rehabilitation of the historic stone terminal building at Woolsey Memorial Airport.

Woolsey Memorial Airport Endowment Fund
Provides financial support for the operation, improvement, and maintenance of Woolsey Memorial Airport.
Youth Endowment Fund
Through a matching grant from the W.K. Kellogg Foundation this endowment fund was created to offer young people the opportunity to learn about philanthropy. The Youth Advisory Council (YAC) meets regularly to review grant applications and determine which programs they would like to support in their community.
