Designing and Achieving II

In late 2017 and early 2018, the Leelanau Township Community Foundation, Leelanau Township, and Village of Northport supported a second community collaborative effort to identify community priorities and develop strategies that would result in local improvements. All three stakeholders utilized utilized several methods to gather community input, including a community meeting, interviews, focus groups, and an online survey.

Designing and Achieving I

In 2012, for the first time in Leelanau/Northport history, the Village of Northport and Leelanau Township governments came together to realize their full potential. The Leelanau Township Community Foundation supported this collaboration between the local units of government. Out of this effort came a full report representing the combined wisdom and talent of the village and township governments, fully aligned and dedicated to strengthening the common good of Leelanau Township.
